The Spiral Press Cafe in Manchester, VT has a great selection of drinks coming for the warm summer months. Last year fresh fruit smoothies were the big hit, and it appears they will be rejoining the menu again.

Yesterday I sampled the latest innovation: a creamy ice coffee drink with chocolate syrup, much like Starbuck’s Frappacino. The difference is all of the ingredients are natural, not dumped in from a mix.

Locally made ice cream is added to the ice, expresso, and chocolate syrup. Quite frankly, it put the Frappacino to shame. Next time you’re at the Spiral Press on a hot day, give it a shot.
