South West Vermont

Though smaller than the Spiral Press, the Simple Coffee Works provides a cozy cafe in the heart of the downtown shopping district of Manchester, Vermont. Many residents stop at SCW for their morning brew and wouldn’t have it any other way.

The SCW provides wifi and boasts the unique feature of an outdoor dining area. Since I last reviewed this cafe, a new owner has added a pretty sweet gelato stand as well. There are plenty of places to find a sandwich and salad in town, but the gelato stand provides something that’s hard enough to find in the state of Vermont, let alone Manchester.
