The Arlington Inn

We choose the Arlington Inn as a place to celebrate my recent book deal with a highly respected publishing company because A) the food has an exceptional reputation and B) it’s far beyond our budget as a regular dining spot. It lived up to both expectations.
I enjoyed a fabulous combination called the mixed grill: Petite Filet Mignon, Duck Breast & Lamb Loin Chop with Goat Cheese Potato Egg Roll. My wife didn’t need a take-home container for her Rainbow Cheese Agnioloti with Toasted Pine Nuts & Gorgonzola Cream.
The service is prompt and friendly, the bread warm and unlimited, and the dessert a worthwhile splurge. After the feast there are plenty of walking options around town or in the nearby recreation park that can be accessed down 313 West.
Another option at the Arlington Inn is breakfast. Whether ordering eggs, waffles, or golden french toast, no one will leave the table hungry.
Whereas dinner is served in an elegant victorian dining room, breakfast is served in a bright, enclosed patio with glass arching over diners. Extensive outdoor gardens provide the perfect setting for meals at this classic Vermont inn.
