If you want to avoid traffic and crowds, then stay out of Manchester Vermont this weekend. Many of the stores are having sidewalk sales and as of 9:00 AM on Friday were bustling with hords and droves and masses of people.

On the other hand, if you’re looking for some bargains, this is the time to strike. The ski sale on route 7A and the Orvis Tent Sale boast savings up to 70% off.

Shopping isn’t exactly my thing, but I couldn’t resist stopping at the Mountain Goat to look over their sale items on the sidewalk. A quick drive through town also revealed a large amount of furniture set out on display, including some beautiful wood furniture.
